A video of people someone knows singing is shared far more than a video of a stranger. It has a built-in audience of everyone in the photo.

Faces need to be reasonably large in the frame. A wide shot of fifteen people at a wedding gives each face very few pixels to work from.

Four to six people, faces clearly visible and lit, is where group videos look their best.

How many people can be in one video?

Several, though results are best when each face is reasonably large in the frame. A tight group of four to six works better than a wide shot of a crowd.

Do I need permission to use a photo of other people?

Yes. Making a video of someone singing without their consent is not something you should do, and it may breach the terms of service as well as local law. For friends and family, ask first.
